BRIAN BUXTON is a product of Southern Californian (minus the over-glorified tan, the bleached blonde hair, the ability to surf, etc all the stereotypical beach-bum attributes that are associated with a "true" Southern California resident)--born and raised in San Diego County, went to college in Riverside, and now resides in Burbank, he's lived within the So Cal triangle for his whole life. Brian graduated from California Baptist University in May 2008 with degrees in Music and Theater. After graduating college, Brian decided to move out to the Hollywood area to pursue the dream of, at least half the population of LA, acting. Beyond acting, Brian loves other areas of fine arts especially singing and dancing. Brian loves movies and musicals and even movie-musicals. He also enjoys contemplating one of the greatest mysteries in life...LOST the TV show. Brian works at Panera Bread as well as background talent for movies and TV. He attends the church Reality LA in Hollywood. Brian's greatest pursuit echoes the words of Paul in Philippians: "But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." (3: 7-11)

The Joys of "Wipeout"
How often is it that you can truly say you “belly laughed?" I mean, laughed so hard that tears came out of your eyes, snot dribbled out of your nose, and your sides hurt so bad because your diaphragm hasn’t had that hard of a workout since you decided to “start” your intense workout regiment and all those crunches when the clock struck midnight 2000-whatever? These have been the offerings this show has provided me over the past two summers. But, beyond the laughs (which is central to my enjoyment of the show), I like ABC’s "Wipeout" beyond that reason.
