MIKE VANDERWYST is an independent producer and actor whose work has spanned various mediums.  He studied cinematography, screenwriting and producing at Columbia College Chicago, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video.  His first post-college film earned his production company several festival awards from across the country.  Mike continues to produce narrative films with meaningful messages.  He managed a Catholic media production team in the Chicago suburbs, where he created several promotional spots, produced weekly televised programs, oversaw live multi-media presentations, and implemented the development of Web media content before relocating to Los Angeles in 2008.  As an actor, Mike has played lead roles in several community theatre productions and currently works as an actor-swordfighter with Swordplay Fencing Studios in Burbank, CA.
